We are helping one of Chicago's largest multi-media companies find a senior accountant for immediate hire. This 30 year old company employees approximately 500 people across 5 international and domestic locations, and generates annual revenues over $400MM. The senior accountant will report directly into the corporate controller and will act as the senior most member in a developing team of 4 staff accountants. The opportunity to grow into an assistant controller will present itself as the company grows throughout Q3 and Q4.

Responsibilities:

*Lead the month end close process

*Manager the general ledger and perform financial statement consolidations for 5 international and domestic locations

*Budgeting,forecasting,analyzing trends

Qualifications:

*2-5 years experience in an accounting or finance role

*Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

*GAAP accounting

*CPA OR CPA candidates

Pluses:

*Ability to grow into a leadership role

*Hyperion

*Prior international accounting and finance experience
