A rapidly growing European Bank located in New York is looking for a Senior Muni Bond Analyst to join their Credit Risk Management team. The volume of new deals has grown from 20 per month to 12-15 per week. The team is responsible for new deal approval from a risk and credit perspective, due diligence on bond acquisitions, portfolio surveillance, and presentation of findings to an internal credit committee.

This person will be in a leadership role on the team, so five or more years of industry experience is a must.

Requirements:

- 5 or more years of industry experience, particularly within Bond Research/Analysis and Credit Risk.

- Previous work with and strong understanding of Municipal Bonds.

- Very strong Excel skills are a must, a quantitative background is a big plus (Stress Testing, etc.)
