Description:
A New York media company is looking for a senior financial analyst. The company is a leading media firm that focuses on reporting news from a variety of fields including business and real estate.
The position involves financial analysis such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance. Candidates will also work on month end closing statements, and will report findings directly to the SVP of fiance and the CFO.
Candidates must have 8 - 10 years or 6 years of experience plus an MBA. Candidates must have experience doing financial analysis, such as trend analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance. Furthermore candidates must have either experience or a degree in accounting, and be extremely well versed in excel.
Candidates with media or publishing experience will be seen as plusses, as well as candidates who have worked with peoplesoft or Solomon systems.
This position offers a senior level analyst position at a top media firm. Furthermore, this position gives candidates the ability to present and interact directly with senior managers.
