Description:
Finance Manager is needed for a well known and expanding catalogue business in New York City.
The Finance Manager job will require:
- 7-12 years finance experience
- Financial Planning and Analysis (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, modeling, etc)
- Strong Excel abilities
- BS in Accounting or Finance
Pluses for this job would be:
- Accounting knowledge
- Business development experience
- MBA in Finance
We are looking for someone who is hungry & eager, who wants to be CFO someday. You will be responsible for the annual budgeting process, management reporting to senior management, explaining all variances and working on the metrics and key performance indicators and analyzing the drivers behind the business. You will conduct sales and margin analysis, and dig down to the actual products to determine profitability and areas of expense which can be reduced. As the company is expanding in new areas, it would be beneficial to have had business development exposure. Those strong in financial modeling would be preferred as well as those with retail experience.
